In 1896 when Judge Sharpless was 31, he second married Lois Bethia Campbell, daughter of David Campbell & Anna E Hall. Born on 22 Feb 1865 in Coulterville, Randolph, Illinois, USA. Lois Bethia died in West Hartford, Hartford, Connecticut, on 22 Feb 1941; she was 76. They were divorced aft 1910.

They had the following children:

		ii.	Hortense Lucile. Born on 23 Apr 1898. On 5 Sep 1928 when Hortense Lucile was 30, she married Henry M Dalson.

On 8 Oct 1920 when Judge Sharpless was 56, he third married Martha Edwards, daughter of Thomas Gonour, in De Soto, Florida. Born on 25 Feb 1881 in Braxton, West Virginia, USA. Martha died in Waycross, Ware, Georgia, USA, on 10 Aug 1936; she was 55.
