Gallea Family
In the early 1870’s the family moved from Lee Co, IA to Crawford Co, KS. Apparently, they knew a family named Gallea and spent their first night in Kansas with that family, who was living near Cato. It is unknown if they were friends or relatives. Attempts to track this family have resulted in questions.
However, a Galley family was found intertwined with the McCracken families in Columbiana County, Ohio. See Nathaniel McCracken below.
