4. Rev. William R. Ashby. Born abt 1820 in Butler, Ohio. William R. died in Gallatin, Sumner, Tennessee, on 27 Dec 1862; he was 42.

On 25 Mar 1841 when William R. was 21, he married Miranda R. Loney in Tippecanoe Co., Indiana. Born on 28 Jun 1821 in Ohio. Miranda R. died on 12 Jul 1915; she was 94. Buried in Indiana Soliers Home Cemetery, West Lafayette, Tippecanoe, Indiana.

On 13 Sep 1840 when Eliza Ann was 18, she married William Ash in Lafayette, Indiana. Born on 1 Aug 1819 in Oldtown, Allegheny Co, Maryland. William died in Fayette Co, Iowa, on 19 May 1899; he was 79.
