Benjamin John White was born in Pulborough, Sussex, England in 1761. His parents are believed to be John White and Elizabeth Smith (unproven). In 1788, he married Mary Wicker in Petworth, Sussex, England. Benjamin died in 1821 in Bignor, Sussex, England.
Benjamin is believed to be an ancestor. A record of him and his wife Mary having a son Luke White has been found. However, more work is required to confirm with certainty that his son is our ancestor Luke White. Note: One reason of concern is that the names Benjamin, John and Mary do not appear within our Luke White’s children.
