Frances Ann Humphrey, known as Frannie, was born in Sussex, England. Frances’ parents have not been identified. There are some leads on her parents. However, more research is needed to confirm their identity.
Marriage
In 1823, she married Luke White at Bury, Sussex, England. She was the mother to eight known children with part of the children born in England . The remainder of her children were born after the family moved to Canada sometime between 1829 and 1833. Frances belonged to the Church of England. She died in 1866 at Blenham, Ontario, Canada.
