On 6 Sep 1783 when Amy was 23, she married Thomas VESTAL. Born on 20 Mar 1764 in Virginia. Thomas died in North Carolina, on 4 Oct 1825; he was 61.

They had the following children:

	iv.	Jemima.
	v.	Elizabeth. Born on 15 Apr 1785 in Surry Co., North Carolina. Elizabeth died in Surry Co., North Carolina, on 30 Sep 1840; she was 55. On 1 Jul 1802 when Elizabeth was 17, she married John Hutchins in Yadkin Co., North Carolina. Born on 30 Jun 1777 in Virginia. John died in Yadkin Co., North Carolina, on 3 Jun 1855; he was 77.
