Margery Mendenhall, daughter of Thomas, was born in Wiltshire, England in 1655. She became a Quaker along with her parents. In 1676, Margery married Thomas Martin, who was also affiliated with the Quaker religion.
Immigration
In 1685, Margery, her husband Thomas, and their daughters came to the colonies on the ship Unicorne. Traveling at the same time was Margery’s brother Moses. They joined siblings John, Benjamin, and Mary Mendenhall, who had previously traveled to America. However, Moses decided to return to his homeland.
