Alexander Conner was born in Botetourt, Virginia in 1783. His parents were Lawrence Conner and Margaret Blane.
Marriage
He married Elizabeth Jackman in 1803. Although there are still questions on this family, data and DNA seem to support Alexander and Elizabeth as our direct line.
Alexander and Elizabeth are believed to have had the followingchildren:
- William married Minerva Hutchenson. Subsequently married Eliza (Jane) Wolford. He died in Johnson County, Missouri
- Roena married Samuel Brown.
- Thomas Gallatin♥
- Elizabeth L. married Mr. Miller. They moved to Iowa.
- John M. married Elizabeth Leigh. Sometime after she died, John moved to Bourbon County, Kansas.
Alexander is believed to have died in 1840 on/near an island in the Mississippi.
