Martha Whitworth was born in 1816 in Kentucky. Her parents are unknown; however, there were only a handful of Whitworth families living where she married. It was thought that Willis Whitworth might be her father given that she had a son Willis. However, if birth dates are correct, she would be only 9 months younger than her older brother.
Marriage
In 1836, Martha married Thomas G. Conner in Macoupin County, Illinois. She gave birth to at least 11 children over a twenty year period.
Martha died in 1878 in Bourbon County, Kansas.
