Gwen Cadwalader was born in 1670 in Chester County, Pennsylvania. She is believed to possibly be the daughter of John Cadwalader and Sarah Roberts. Although they were in the area, this is not proven.
Marriage
In 1691, Gwen married Robert Williams at Hugh Robert’s house in Merion Township, Philadelphia County/Montgomery County, Pennsylvania. Both were Quakers prior to their marriage. The only Cadwalader in attendance at her wedding was Morgan Cadwalader.
Gwen is believed to be the mother to 9 children. She died in 1734.
