Abel John, son of Griffith John and Ann Williams, was born in 1727 in Chester County, Pennsylvania. Abel was born into a Quaker family and followed the teachings of the Society of Friends his entire life.

 

Marriage

Abel John married his bride Mary Fisher in 1755 at the Uwchian Monthly Meeting. By 1800, they had made their way west to Washington County, Pennsylvania where Abel died.
