Patience Allen was the daughter of Jedidiah Allen and Elizabeth Howland. She was born in 1683 in Sandwich, Barnstable, Massachusetts.
Marriage
Patience married Samuel Tilton in 1705 at the Shrewsbury Monthly Meeting in Monmouth County, New Jersey. She was a Quaker and was the mother to 9 children. Patience died in 1748 (only 3 years after Samuel). She did not have a will. An accounting of her estate was made in Nottingham Township, Burlington County, New Jersey.
