Peter Harrison was born in 1766 in Maryland. His parents are possibly Richard Harrison and Hannah Wheatcraft.
Marriage
Peter married Sarah Bunting. Peter and Sarah were Quakers with Sarah appearing to be more active than Peter.
About 1815, they moved to Columbiana Co, Ohio. They lived the rest of their lives in the eastern counties of Ohio.

Peter and Sarah were the parents to 15 children:

- Elisha married Mary Ann Harrision, a cousin.
- John married Margaret Dysert and Hannah Shreve.
- William Henry married Lydia Ann Worrall. After Lydia died, William married Margaret Jordan. William is buried at the Claney Cemetery in Kansas.

- Richard married Hannah.
- Hannah married George Davidson. They eventually moved to Illinois.
- Patience
- Barzilla married Rachel Caldwell.
- Enoch married Mary Siddall.
- Daniel married Sarah Siddall.
- Benjamin married Phoebe Siddall.
- Lydia Ann married Israel James. They moved to Iowa.
- Elizabeth died as an infant.

Most of the Harrison children lived their adult lives in Ohio with the exception of Lydia Ann who moved to Iowa with her husband and Eunity who moved to Kansas.
